William Eugene Jones

William Eugene Jones, 74, of Oak Hill passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at his residence. Born May 16, 1952, in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Rev. Woodrow Jones and Edith Mae (Dodson) Jones. William was a member of the Crossroads Apostolic Holiness Church in Bradley, he always enjoyed going to the Ennis Reunion in Meadow Bridge, talking on his CB Radio as his name was Penny Pincher, and he loved talking on the phone with his church family. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by brother, Jerry Jones; and sister, Elizabeth Carolyn Jones Carrico. Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his nephew, Donnie Carrico (Lisa), brother, David Jones; his church family, numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews Graveside rites with burial to follow will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at High Lawn Memorial Park 1435 Mian Street E. Oak Hill WV, 25901 with Pastor Tim Vicars and Rev. James Miller officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
