Sarah Ellen Glover ObituarySarah Ellen GloverAugust 23, 1948 – August 6, 2024Sarah Ellen (McKinney) Glover was born August 23, 1948, to Gwendolyn Irene (Blackburn) McKinney Sanger and her father, John McKinney. John McKinney was killed in a mining accident when Sarah was two years old. Gwen Married Carl Sanger eight years later and moved to Oak Hill in 1961.Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Eric Hambrick, and daughter, Kristan Gallant, both from Ohio. Sarah had five grandchildren, Darian Heintzman, Ian Heintzman, Lauren Hambrick, Evan Hambrick, and Makenna Gallant. Sarah had one great-grandchild.Sarah was very active and community-minded, Sarah had many friends, and she loved the town of Oak Hill and The Oak Hill Red Devil Alumni Association. She was instrumental in getting the alumni building together and making it what it is today. Her goal was to see the Alumni grow and become the pride of Oak Hill. She will be missed by many.In keeping with Sarah’s wishes she will be cremated and placed between her mother and father, Gwen and Carl Sanger, at High Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Last Supper.
