Robert W Johns

Robert W. Johns, 81, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away June 10, 2026. Bob was born on October 29, 1944, in Nuttallburg, West Virginia, to the late Emogene Johns.

Bob was a coal miner at Shinnston, and was a veteran serving as a Sergeant in the Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Bob’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and reading.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Drema; a daughter, Dianna; father, Joseph Coy; and his brother, Bill Coy.

Left to cherish his memory, his brothers, Darrell and Gary Coy; sisters, Dolly Hornsby and Kay Turner; a granddaughter, Layton Watts (Timothy); a special nephew, Patrick; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services.
