Lena Legg

Lena Legg, 95, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on May 19, 2025, at Fayetteville Healthcare Center in Fayetteville, WV.

Lena was born on June 20, 1929 in Rush Run, WV to Samuel and Laura Musselwhite.

Lena was a retired nurse’s aide at Oak Hill Hospital.

Lean was a member of the Moose Lodge in Oak Hill, WV. She loved to dance and enjoy life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving son, Samuel D. Legg; her sisters, Liz, Jenny, Ruth, Lula, Nora, and Frances; and one brother, Russell, as well as a son-in-law Roger Martin Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Judy Martin (John Woodrum), and Patricia Musick (Noah); a daughter-in-law, Judy Legg; grandchildren, Roger Martin Jr. (Belinda), Laura Martin, Samantha Delarosa (Joey), and Felica Legg; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned at this time. The family will celebrate Lena’s life privately.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Fayetteville Healthcare Center for the care of Lena over the last 13 years.
