Kathleen Ann Kees Lively

Kathleen Ann Kees Lively, 84, of Oak Hill, West Virginia passed away, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her home. Kathleen was born on May 4, 1940 in Collinsdale, West Virginia to the late Homer Douglas and Leva Mae Kees.

Kathleen was a homemaker to her loving family.Kathleen loved serving and working in the church. She worked the local food pantry, loved crafts, collecting bells, growing flowers, taking care of her grand kids, and most of all she loved her Paul.In addition to her parents, Homer and Leva Kees, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bannon Kees and Bill Kees; sisters, Vada Craig, Ethel Lucas, Nola Clements, and Gladys Nichols; and a grandson, Garrett Treadway.

Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband Paul; a special daughter, Tammie Treadway (Larry); grandchildren, Joey Treadway (Andrea) and Larry Treadway Jr. (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Maddison and Kody Nancarrow, Trevor Treadway, Hallie and Nathan Barefoot, Isaiah and Ari Treadway, and Grace Treadway; and numerous nieces and nephews, especially a special niece, Sherry Smith.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Carlos Hodge of Oak Hill Christian Church officiating. 

Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.Friends may call on the family starting at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home.

The family would also like to thank Hospice and the wonderful job that they did taking care of her, especially her special nurse, Randi Fernett.

Pallbearers will be Larry Treadway, Joey Treadway, Isaiah Treadway, Glen Lively, Wade Lively, and Joel Fernett.
