John David Kees

John David Kees went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2025, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. John was born May 15, 1940, in Collinsdale, WV to the late Chester and Georgia Kees.
Several words come to mind when thinking about John, he was loving, kind, generous, unselfish, nonjudgemental, and a devoted Christian man.To know him, was to love him.John was self-employed and owner/operator of several assisted living homes in the Oak Hill area. John served proudly in the United States Navy.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Kees Terry, who was standing at Heaven’s Gate to welcome him home; and a sister, Peggy Warrick.Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Carole Kees; a daughter, Shannon Jenkins (Jon); grandchildren, Landon Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, River Terry, and Ria Terry and half-siblings; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to High Lawn Funeral Home.
