Jimmy "Dollar Eye" Neal

Jimmy “Dollar Eye” Neal, 70, of Fayetteville, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Huntington, West Virginia, with his loving family by his side. Jimmy was born on February 8, 1955, in Jenson, Kentucky, to the late James Neal and Hazel Bryant Neal.

Jimmy was a lifelong coal miner.When he wasn’t working you could find him gardening, hunting, playing music, and playing SPOONS, most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, James and Hazel, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Neal; and his sisters, Enda Taylor, Louise “Snooks’ Eversole, and Charleen Eversole.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Debbie Neal; brothers, Kenneth Neal (Maxine), Gary Neal (Lydia), and Michael Wayne Neal Sr; a sister, Peggy Smith (Jack); a son, Kenneth Neal (Lisa); daughters, Michelle Jones (John), and Jamie Sharp (JC); and all of his grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy’s family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for you to plant a sunflower in his memory.
