Edith Cora Honaker, 95, of Old Town, Florida passed away March 8, 2023.Edith was born January 29, 1928 to Bill & Pearl Allen in Sun, WV. Edith was a devoted wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She will always be remembered as an amazing teacher of Gods holy word. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God in Hill Top, WV She was predeceased in death by both parents, husband James Henry Honaker, brother Birkie Allen, grandsons Wayne & Jimmy Johnson, grandson in law Rob Danch. She was survived by her daughter Gailia Ann & John Rogers, her granddaughter Kim Danch, her great granddaughters Ashley & Flavian Urumelog, Katelyn & JC Pennington (Caige & Alaina), Allison & Austin Dawsey, Great grandsons Evan Lee Evans, Wayne & Kassidy Johnson, and Nephew John Allen Edith owned Honakers Christian Bookstore in Oak Hill, WV for 30 years. A powerful teacher of the Word of God & by her life time example. Edith’s store had a prayer room in the back for those in need of prayer. Edith supplied surrounding area churches with all their needs and taught on faith as a guest speaker in many. Each time she ordered a case of bibles for her store, she sent a case to Trinidad for those desiring the written word of God. Loved and admired by countless individuals, her love for Father God and his children will go on as long as time exists on earth and throughout eternity.
