Diana Kay Hogan

Diana Kaye Hogan, 72, of Fayetteville, WV, was called to her heavenly home on August 24, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on September 3, 1952, in Fayetteville, WV, to Bert and Evelyn Nugen.

Diana graduated from Fayetteville High School and went on to become a nurse. She worked at Plateau Medical, Dr. Sarah Loot Pediatrics, and then was the school nurse for New River Elementary before retiring to babysit her grandchildren. She was an active member of Fayetteville First Church of God, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir, and the choir leader. She was a wife, a loving mother, and was loved “buncher than the sky”.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Evelyn Nugen.

Those left to cherish her memory; husband, James Hogan Sr (Jim); sons, James Hogan Jr. (Jimmy) and wife, Lisa, and Jonathan Hogan (Jon) and wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Ryan, Erica, Jamie, Olivia and Sawyer; great-granddaughter, Braelyn; sisters, Karen Hildebrand (Terry), and Sandra Price (Monty); and brother, Alan Nugen (Kim).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 August 27, 2025, at High Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Baily officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.
